Travis graduated from McKay High School in 1999. He played baseball all 4 years at Western Oregon University while majoring in Social Sciences and minoring in Economics. There he was named all-conference twice and was a starting outfielder for the 2001 WOU baseball club that finished third in the NAIA World Series. The 2012 season will be Travis’ seventh as a coach; all of which have been spent at various levels in the West Salem baseball program. This will be Travis’ fifth year teaching math at Walker Middle School.  Travis is blessed with his wife Autum, daughter Lucy (5), and son Jack (1).
